Article Processing Charges
SocioLumen is a fully open-access and completely free academic journal. Authors are not charged any fees at any stage of the submission, evaluation, or publication process.

SocioLumen does not charge:

- Peer-review fees
- Article processing charges
- Publication fees
- Page or word charges
- Charges for tables, figures, or colour images
- DOI assignment fees, where applicable
- Correction, withdrawal, or archiving fees
Submitting a manuscript, undergoing peer review, and publishing an accepted article are entirely free of charge.
No Paid Priority or Fast-Track Review
SocioLumen does not offer paid priority assessment, accelerated peer review, guaranteed acceptance, or fast-track publication. Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly quality, originality, relevance, methodological adequacy, and compliance with ethical principles.
No Waiver Application Required
Because no author fees are charged, authors do not need to apply for a fee waiver or financial exemption. Authors’ institutional affiliation, nationality, country of residence, or financial circumstances do not affect editorial decisions.
Optional External Services
Authors may independently obtain professional language editing, translation, statistical consultancy, or similar services if they wish. Such services are not required by the journal, do not guarantee acceptance, and are not provided as part of the editorial decision-making process.
Policy Changes
If the journal’s fee policy changes in the future, the change will be announced transparently on the journal website before taking effect. No fee will be requested retrospectively for manuscripts submitted while the free publication policy was in force.
Any suspicious payment request claiming to represent SocioLumen should be reported through the journal’s official contact address.
